Winter Break is my favorite time of year. Sure, Summer is my favorite season – but winter break is THE BEST. No work or classes getting in the way of my fun. At some point over break I will have to buckle down and work on a brief for the moot court team I’m on, as well as finish up my paper for the Entertainment Law Review. But until then, I am taking full advantage of sleeping in, seeing friends, and celebrating.
Winter Break kicked off in Manhattan Beach. The following night, I met up with Whitney in Santa Monica and her friends (who have become my friends over the years) for the 2nd year we’ve done the SANTA Monica Pub Crawl. My friend Aviva from school came as well! We ended up all getting separated, but it was a fun night. We hit up SOUTH, The Gas Lite, and Sonny McClean’s. Oh, and we took tons of photos.

It was also a lot of fun running into old friends from high school, my coworker from over the summer, etc. I love this event – and the entry fee goes to a food bank, so at least a little Christmas cheer is being spread 
I took the next few days easy – got back in the gym, took care of some Christmas shopping, and found a dress for my friends’ wedding coming up in a few weeks. HUGE accomplishment.
On Tuesday night, I celebrated the end of finals at Loyola’s end of semester Bar Review at a lounge in DTLA called Elevate. Pretty views of the city, pricey drinks.

I was also able to spend a little time exploring downtown last night – there’s a certain festive holiday spirit there. The holiday lights remind of how every European city, for the two months before Christmas, has lights at almost every intersection

On today’s agenda? So far there’s a lot of Teen Mom going on. Maybe I’ll tackle cleaning my closet before I have a team meeting for my moot court team tonight.
