alpha chi pride?

30 Mar

This past weekend, one of my best friends from my sorority in college, Amy, took a break from her studies at Oxford to spend a week in Madrid (after first visiting that city to the north that shall-not-be-named).

I introduced her to the obsession that is 100 Montaditos, made the rounds to Madrid´s tourist sites (including el Museo del Prado – Amy´s an art history buff), shopped in Madrid´s 5th Avenue-like area known as Salamanca, celebrated Daylight Savings Time with an extra-late night out at a discoteca, and caught up on important gossip, naturally.

While I still give Amy a hard time for saying ¨Here´s to exploring new cities with old friends¨ while we met up in Lyon, France in November, there is definitely some truth in that statement, and I´m looking forward to future adventures with all of my friends in the near future!
