library wars.

13 Oct

Thank God It’s Jersday. This has been quite a week – first law school midterm on Tuesday in Property (I think it went well, but who knows) and an immediate celebration downtown with my section at Yardhouse. Three IPAs later I was definitely regretting the whole day-drinking thing. . . getting Wednesday’s reading done was definitely not easier, but the post-scantron raging was necessary.

I also had a delightful taco dinner with Whitney, Caroline and friends, and hit up Yardhouse again with my roommate Jenn and two of our friends from our sorority, Krisse and Meredith – it had been forever since we’d all hung out.

But now to the real issue at hand. I may have a new favorite library. While I’m partial to Beverly Hills, the brand-spankin’ new West Hollywood Library is a modern architecture lover’s paradise. (I was there on Saturday for many hours and it was a constant parade of hipsters walking through snapping photos).

I got a ton of work done for my midterm and loved the views of West Hollywood. It felt so upscale and refined – and there was SO MUCH LIGHT for a library. Love.

I’ll be out of town this weekend for a half-marathon so I won’t get any WeHo library time in, but I will undoubtedly be back. Might even live dangerously and claim a study room during finals…

LOVE that library….though, I don’t think I’d ever get anything done! I’d get too distracted. It was a delightful taco Tuesday. We need to have them more often. 🙂

Hahah yeah – luckily it’s close to good food options – and Urth cafe – so study breaks can be frequent 🙂
