a day in the life.

lovin' my BIC bands!!

Prior to my run yesterday am, I got hella blogger-y and took some obnoxious photos. The first one was to show off my new BIC (Because I Can) Bands! These things had taken over the blog world – I’d noticed them frequently being touted by both Tina and SR – so when OpenSky hit me up with a $10 credit last week, I ordered 3 of them. They really do work – only very minor slippage! This is a big deal – I lost a flimsy headband last weekend just 3 miles into my 14-miler. So – this is the point of this dorky 7:30 pre-run pic.

thursday run. new running shirt. #win.

It’s never very cold in LA, but cold enough for me to have to buy “warm” running clothes. Also, my room is tragicly messy. Whoops.

After my 5 miler in Bev Hills (still wondering why the UCLA Men’s XC team was stopped by a cop…weird), I meandered to school.

heading into K-Town with DTLA in the background.

After a few scintillating hours of Property and Contracts, my friend Amber and I celebrated Jersday with Happy Hour at The Farm of Beverly Hills.

Stone IPA post-Contracts. Hellloooo weekend.

Amber!

Also…we witnessed the most pathetic sight ever. People CAMPED OUT for the premiere of Twilight #4 (about 5 too many, IMHO).

Occupy LA Live? no, just over-eager Twi-hards.

no comment.

The rest of the night included some outlining, research for my upcoming research memo (duty and breach in the negligent transmission of HIV) and then watched Grey’s (WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU KILL SCOTT FOLEY????) and Private Practice. Oh, and my Friday involved Civ Pro, Legal Research, and a quick walk to the Starbucks at LA Live with my friends Amber and Blake where I officially earned a Gold Star.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! What’s on your docket?

This weekend will include some fun dropped into a TON of studying. I also decided to sign up for a 10k so I’ll be trampling through Universal this Sunday! Looking forward to that!

I love your lifey recaps. 🙂 Can you believe your first semester of law school is almost over. Insanity! My weekend will include quality time with the Spaniard. It’s few and far between these days so I am happy about that! 🙂 A new restaurant to review!!

Thank you, Kristen! I know – time is flying by, it’s scary!

Yay – glad to hear you’ll get in some QT with the Spaniard/marido! Love the restaurant reviews – even if they do make me teary-eyed for Spain!

Great post! City life looks good on you. Heads up, the next time you go to The Farm you have to try their brownies. They are to die for, literally. On another note, I can’t believe people actually camp out for Twilight. It makes me feel really uncomfortable. Sorry you had to witness that! EEK!

Thanks Sarah! Definitely noting the brownies suggestion. Their mac n cheese is also pretty delish, but other than that I have yet to be wowed by their food. And yes, the twilight thing is beyond creepy.
